Transport processes in sea ice

Measurement of transport properties of sea ice, such as fluid permeability and electrical conductivity, and their dependence on crystallography and the presence of EPS and algae; tracer experiments;  measurement of EPS effect on brine viscosity. The goal is to develop electromagnetic methods for monitoring the internal physical and biological state of sea ice.
